Simple Rainbow Splash

Watercolor

This was a very simple card to make up using a watercolor technique. You will use some watercolor paper and inks or watercolors if you have them. The size of the watercolor strip is 5 1/2 x 2 1/2″. I damped the paper with a brush and water. I picked up ink and brushed back and forth in a vertical direction adding color and water as needed. Adding water helps with the blending. As you can see where the red is there’s more of a solid line because I didn’t use enough water.

With the watercolor being the focal point I just added some simple ribbon in Coral Calypso and a couple small butter flies left over from another project. Easy Breezy! There are a lot of possibilities with this watercolor technique so have fun with it.
