It’s All In The Details

I love a card that has a lot of details, the more the better. I made this birthday card for a family member to get in the mail today. I love the colors and the aged look of the designer paper. This is a 5 1/2  x 4 1/4 base. I embossed the base card using the Vintage Wallpaper folder and ran it through my Big Shot. It adds some wonderful texture.

Bird builder

I used the dies from the labels collection to cut out the Sahara sans and Calpso Coral card stock. I added distress ink to the designer paper and the center paper to give them some pop! I used Dimentionals on the back of the label to get it interest. It’s a nice effect when you see it in person. I stamped the little flower up on the left and added rhinestone for Bling.

Bird Punch

Sorry for the blurred picture a photographer I am I love this bird builder punch. I stamped the images from For All You Do stamp set and then used the bird punch. I doubled the layers on the birds body and wing for some stability. I used  the Marina Mist card stock for the base of the bird and the stamped image was done in Pacific Point. I used Old Olive CS for the leaves and those are part of the bird punch, Pretty Cool Huh? I added a little Lucky Limeade ribbon and a few rhinestone and there you have it.
