Evergreen

Evergreen

This Evergreen stamp Set is so versatile and I love the Silent Night poem that you can use by itself or over a stamped tree image.

  • I used the Labels Framelits dies on the DSP and the Cherry Cobbler card stock. It frames out the tree nicely.
  • I dry embossed the Cherry Cobbler with the Perfect Polka Dots Folder.
  • The Glimmer Paper can be colored with any of the inks to give you the perfect color. Here the star is a perfect shade of gold. I finished it off with the shimmery gold ribbon.

If you have a large Christmas card list this is a super easy and quick card to make. I adore the snow flakes.

  • This is a standard 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 card and I used the stamp set Snowflake Soiree.
  • It’s hard to see in the picture but I scored 3 lines across the card near the bottom using the Simply Scored Tool. This creates some interest and texture on the card. To finish it off I added Rhinestones to the centers and all the points on the large snowflake.

I hope you enjoyed this card, if so please share and/or comment below, Thank you!

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

Snowflake Soiree

I love snow at Christmas time and unfortunately, I don’t live  where it snows anymore. I grew up in the Mid-West and for sure there was always plenty of snow that just glistened at night when all the Christmas lights were lit up. This card reminds me of those fond memories and is a double version of the Triple Layered Card.

  • I have the base in Midnight Muse at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, the second mat is 4 1/2 x 3 1/4. Whispering white is 5 1/4 x 4 and 4 1/4 x 3.
  • Start by placing the 2 white pieces of card stock on top of each other. I put a bit of Snail on the back and rub it a couple times with my finger to create a temporary adhesive so the papers don’t slide.
  • I used 3 of the stamps from Snowflake Soiree and stamped off  Pacific Point for the back ground and then again in full color. When finished I separated the two white sheets and adhered them to the blue mats.
  • I tied some ribbon around the first layer before attaching to the base. I also added some sparkle by placing Rhinestones on the front snowflake. These cards are a little more time consuming bu,t oh so pretty :)

Thank you for stopping by. If you enjoyed this card I hope you’ll share it with others and/or comment below.

Oh Christmas Tree…..

Evergreen

What says Christmas better than a Christmas tree… This delightful Evergreen stamp set gives you several looks to choose from and of course, you can add additional embellishments for a very special look. The red (Cherry Cobbler) and green (Gumball Green) are very traditional colors but can be swapped out for any colors you’d like. This is a fairly easy card to mass produce if you have a large card list.

  • I stamped the tree in Gumball Green ink and them came back over it with the Versamark so I could emboss it with Cherry Cobbler embossing powder. It gives it a pretty shiny finish. I love the outlined look on the tree.
  • I layered the Whispering White and DSP Festival of Prints and added the Gumball 3/8″ Stitched Ribbon around it. They might be kind of hard to see but, I scattered some Rhinestones on the DSP right of the tree. It gives a little sparkle to the card. The Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment fits beautifully in the bottom corner.

Oh! I do believe that snowmen are delightful balls of snow with a bit of magic that spreads Love and Joy to all those who Believe. I cased this wonderful card from Stamping with Tami. I fell in love with it from when I first saw it.

  • The cherry cobbler makes for a great base color for this card with it’s soft browns and very vanilla paper. The eyes and mouth were easy to create with punches and the nose was freehand.
  • Crumb cake gave the background stamp some softness and nicely aged the card a bit. The bottom fan look was created with a finishing touched edgelit. Chocolate chip polka dot ribbon with an antique brad adds a whimsy finish.
