About

A Creativepreneur

I grew up in the Mid-West until my early twenties and then moved West to California in 1985. I made it my home for almost 30 yrs. I started a family being blessed with two great sons’ who always encourage me to follow my dreams even when I felt I had no dreams left.

I’ve always been an artist in some form and a free spirited woman. I’m drawn to the creative things in Life..Both my parents were very creative and shared some of their skills. I’ve had some formal training. I studied Interior and floral design through home study courses years ago and found I had a natural gift.

My passion is creating warm and cozy spaces for myself and others. I also love making handmade items to add warmth and beauty into those spaces, one home at a time.

I started a home staging business for homes that were for sale and for homes that just needed a new look. This is where I learned a great deal about the art of placement. After a few years the housing market took a turn for the worst and I had to close my business, so I found myself looking for something else I could be passionate about.

I began designing and selling wreaths online and eventually found book folding and fell in love with that too!

I recently moved half way across the country, leaving my adult son’s behind in California to help care for my aging mother only to become her full-time caretaker while I run my creative business from her home.

I feel blessed to have this opportunity to start new and look forward to see what this journey has in store for me.
